Located in the charming village of Lacoste, in the Hérault region of Southern France’s enchanting Salagou countryside, the Clos des Coustoulins offers an all-inclusive week’s getaway and the chance to savour a new holiday experience. Nestled in a stunning array of greenery, in perfect communion with the natural environment, Armelle and Fred will enjoy sharing their love of the area with you through hikes, mountain bike trips, quad and 4 x 4 tours as well as canoe outings. Enjoy these activities (when the mood takes you) and discover the intimacies of the region.
Other offers include discovering local culinary traditions. The Clos prides itself on using locally sourced products, regularly promoting and sampling regional wines and even using the produce from our vegetable garden in our meals. With nothing to worry about, you can relax and unwind in the knowledge that your stay is all-inclusive and adjustable to suit your needs. Even babysitting is provided should it be required. All that remains is for you to relax at the swimming pool and soak up its stunning view; enjoy a massage or work out in the newly built fitness suite, which is set amongst the leafy oak trees. Alternatively, you and your family can savour the beautiful summer nights in the decked treehouse as you sleep beneath a magnificent star-filled sky.
Set in a hectare of beautiful greenery sheltered by centenarian oak trees, stand La Capitelle and Le Cabanis; independent private accommodation in two “mazets” with each its own private terrace and garden. Combining Frédéric’s artistic skills and Armelle’s talents in decoration they have designed and put together these two exquisite dwellings, from the main structure right up to the final decorative details, using ancient materials, furniture hunted down in local “Brocantes” and others made from scratch. These delightful havens can accommodate up to 10 guests; an invitation to escape and then lull in the fullness of this idyllic place.
Enjoy things at your own pace and skirt the shores of the Lac du Salagou on mountain bikes, head off on quads towards the Terrasses du Larzac vineyards, scale the summit of Mount Liausson or canoe down a free-flowing river. Thumbing through our travel guide might inspire you to do something different and we would recommend all the suggested trips. Whatever your choice, everything is planned to prioritise privacy and to avoid the well-trodden tourist paths. With nothing to worry about, you can relax and unwind in the knowledge that your stay is all-inclusive and designed to suit your needs.
